About Laurie Knight
In my own words:
Welcome my friend… I’m Laurie Knight. As a clinical therapist for over 10 years and certified coach since 2006, I’ve worked with people who are suffering, struggling, and searching for solutions in their lives. Despite the wide variety of issues I’ve helped people tackle over the years, the commonalities among our problems and issues are staggering. My solution focused/strengths based approach is what drives my work and it’s allowed me to develop programs for women to escape their own personal status quo and achieve amazing things.
My system is simple, and it starts with a “DREAM”. If you know me at all, you’ll know that’s not meant to be cliche, but more of an opportunity to point out that everyone holds a dream for their life, family, or legacy and it’s possible to start making those dreams a reality now!! Sometimes we get caught up in the big dreams and visions and forget about the small dreams and steps we need to achieve first in order for the big ones to be possible. Every dream and step is important, even the little ones. They are all connected!
It’s in the next phase of my system where I help folks “DO” what it takes to achieve big results including clearing emotional and physical clutter, putting systems into place to make the most of valuable time, and solidifying next steps in order to “BE” at a new normal, which is the third phase of the system.
It’s amazing the change and momentum that takes place once accountability through coaching is in place. Take it from me who’s worked with the best. I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars and hired the most sought after coaches to help me in my life and business. It has been a long journey and I continue to be committed to my own process of personal and professional development that involves lots and lots of hard work. I don’t promise quick fixes, but I do know if you’re willing to take a chance and commit to DIVA living sky is the limit!!
My Music
As a lifelong singer and songwriter music has always been a big part of my life, yet it was mainly just a hobby I shared with my father when he was alive. Unfortunately, losing my father early in life caused me to bottle up lots of emotions and live in a comfort zone. I knew deep down this wasn’t honoring my father’s legacy and his passion for life. I ultimately decided it was time to take a risk and I forced myself to join a band after years of struggling with paralyzing stage fright and fear. After years of hiding and playing it safe, I never dreamed I’d record a CD in Nashville or perform on stage with some amazing talent in the Country and Christian world, yet that’s all been part of the journey. I’ve been blessed to be able to incorporate my passion for music into my life and business and have had the privilege of performing nationwide at various conferences, events, and retreats after recording my Debut album “CALL IT A FEELING” in August of 2007.
