Excuses Begone by Wayne Dyer

I’m so fascinated by Dr. Wayne Dyer. His most recent book is called: Excuses Begone: How to change LifeLong Self defeating thinking habits. I’ve always considered myself a pretty proactive person, howerver, even more so now after reading this book. I’m quick to catch myself now when I go into excuse mode. Before, I probably would have chalked it up as “explaining myself” or “discussing circumstances”, but bottom line they are 99% of the time EXCUSES!! Talking with excuses is a hard habit to break and awareness is the first step in change.
The cool thing about his book is he really gets you thinking about key concepts of Awareness, Willingness, Passion, Compassion, etc. Things we often forget to think about in our day to day life unless we specifically try. What Dr Dyer suggests, is that having zero tolerance for excuses in yourself can indeed become second nature. You will begin to create a completely new way of being. How exciting is that?? A world with no excuses…. can you imagine? Start with YOU
